About Red Instead

I’m Jen Leheny and I provide design services under the business name, Red Instead. I’ve been building and coding websites, designing graphics and taking photos for over ten years, and running this business since mid 2009.   I’d love to help you take your business to the next level with a professional image.

I decided to return to graphic and web design as a profession, after spending six years as a work at home mum running my own handcrafted accessories business. Of course, my handcrafted business needed branding, marketing, product photos, an e-commerce shopping site and a blog and so I was able to keep up with the photography, graphic and web design that I loved so much as well.

In mid 2009, with my kids a little older and a hankering to get back to my roots, I decided to wind up my handmade business and relaunch Red Instead as a graphic design, web development and photography business.

Designing for web and print is what I love the most and this is the new direction for Red Instead.
