Kate Dawson from Miss Chief Maker put on a spectacular event back in June at her store at Picturesque Pialligo. Her completely booked out High Tea and scrummy cakes was a great success, complete with jazz band and a selection of Canberra’s best handmade talent showing their wares.
I didn’t make a booking in time (the event sold out fast) so I volunteered to come out and take photos for Kate instead. Here are just a few, and you can see more of the photos that I took for the High Tea at my Event Photography page.
It was great to see so many women enjoying a pot of tea, some cake and a chat.
Sock Monkey from Poppy, Bean and Bloss hard at work, guarding the sign.
Julie Nichols (Handmade Market) and Lisa Barrett (Canberra’s Got Style and Tango and James) were there of course. Love you both!
I really liked this display – SEE ART. Everywhere.
What looks to be four generations catching up over a lovely warming tea.
Gorgeous Jennie McClelland and her gorgeous girls.
I sewed up a bunch of winter dresses for the day.
Karmen Sega and her leather shoes and bags was there.
